“Self love is a lifelong journey and sometimes it's harder than others. You just have to commit.”

In partnership with Ebonee Davis, DAUGHTER Org, and Black Girls Film, the Daughter Diary is a workbook specifically created to aid in the healing and inspiration of Black girls and women.

Made from 100% recycled paper, this journal features imagery of Black women in all shades, having each other’s back and holding each other up as we do in our day to day lives. Aspirational messages are printed between the pages as a reminder that Black women’s healing, goals and progression is by no means linear, but we have the tools within us to fulfill our ancestors' wildest dreams.

This diary is for us, the daughters of the diaspora.

Design by SaVonne Anderson, inspired by photography from Dominique Shephard

Size: 5.5 x 8 in, 100 pages, wire binding

Printing Specs: Printed digitally with 100% non toxic toner on 100% PCW Recycled, PCF Chlorine Free paper.

Ebonee Davis is an American model, poet, actor and activist.

Ebonee has become one of the fashion industry's most prominent voices, advocating for representation and diversity in front of the camera as well as behind it.

She has since appeared on numerous covers and in publications such as American Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Elle, Essence, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, CRWN, L’official, Glamour and alongside songstress Solange Knowles in Office Magazine.

In 2019, Ebonee founded Daughter Org - a non-profit, educational organization, dedicated to unifying children of the diaspora. Daughter Org provides sponsorships for young scholars looking to connect with their African ancestry, as well as those who seek to expand their narrative and understand their roots, by returning back to West Africa for immersive experiences.

The Daughter Diary was created by Ebonee Davis with Aya Paper Co. to help Black women connect back to their roots and define themselves, for themselves.
